Anyone want to trade for Topps Finest Redemption #4 (Jeff Samardzija)?

Earlier this year I bought two hobby boxes of 2008 Topps Finest.  I pulled rookie redemption cards #2 and #4, and I anxiously waited to find out what players would be featured on those cards.  I was totally elated when I found out that redemption #2 would be Jay Bruce and that it would be an autographed card!  This was announced when Bruce was first called up and his hype was at its peak.  I couldn’t wait to find out who would I would get with redemption #4.  I was really hoping that it would be Evan Longoria.  Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when I found out that it would be Jeff Samardzija, relief pitcher for the Chicago Cubs.  I’ve never been a fan of Samardzija, going back to his days as a wide receiver for Notre Dame when they crushed Penn State in 2006.

I am about to mail in my redemption card #2, but I am looking to trade #4.  Are there any Cubs fans or Samardzija fans who are interested?  Ideally, I’d like to get any of the other 8 redemption cards in return, although I’d also be open to any good Rays cards that you’d be willing to trade.

So if you’re interested, make me an offer I can’t refuse.  Either leave a comment on this post, or email me.

And check out this great post on Wax Heaven featuring pictures of all 10 redemption cards.
